Very Impressed!

The app works very well. It does as it says and does an excellent job at it. At first I had some problems installing the Air Mouse server from their website. However I sent an email to them and got a very fast response. (like 10 min. or less) I did as the person suggested and then it worked perfectly! I am extremely impressed with the customer service and the product.

Pros: Works well; Cool useful interface; great customer service;easy to use (once you get used to it); has both a touch pad and a gyro-mouse function along with a keyboard

Cons: Because the accelerometer does not regester movement from side to side you must tip the iPhone/iPod in order to move the mouse side to side which is'nt really their fault... its more the accelerometer's fault so I didn't dock a star for it. Although it is awkward at first, it works well when you are used to the feel of it. =)
Much more than a mouse

Without a doubt one of my favorite apps. When I first got this app, I thought it was cool and a novel idea. Then I found out all it can do. Calling it a mouse is actually a disservice to this app. It is a remote control for your computer.

Not quite sure what some people are complaining about in the reviews. It has installed and worked perfectly for me. And the one time it did not work (I had the server software at a different version level than the iPhone software), I received a quick response and was perfectly happy.

To be honest, when using it as a mouse, I use the touch pad mode rather than the in-air motion mode. Perhaps with some practice, the in-air motion mode could become usable, but I didn’t have the patience to dedicate time to it. And from using laptops, the touch pad mode feels very natural.

I highly recommend this app.
Long way from perfect

I find the air mouse pretty much unusable (my wrist started to hurt after a while). It is not even close to how a Gyration mouse handles (granted it is somewhat cheaper). The problem is in how it translates accelerometer data. It would be more accurate if it simply used the angle to compute acceleration instead of pinpointing the location on screen. That way if would work for 1080p resolution without having to swing multiple times. The touch pad function is much better, but there is another app that uses the entire screen for touchpad and it only costs $2. That app also has a keyboard that can send ctrl/alt/cursors and functional keys unlike air mouse. I will give the app one more star for fixing the air mouse and another one for fixing the keyboard.

Ivan Konstantinovich Aivazovsky (Ukrainian: Іва́н Костянти́нович Айвазо́вський, Russian: Иван Константинович Айвазовский, Armenian: Հովհաննես Այվազովսկի - Hovhannes Aivasovsky, originally Aivazian) July 29, 1817 – May 5, 1900) was a painter of Armenian descent living and working Crimea, most famous for his seascapes, which constitute more than half of his paintings.

Life

Aivazovsky was born in the town of Feodosiya, Crimea (Russian Empire) to a poor Armenian family. His parents family name was Aivazian. Some of artist's paintings bear a signature, in Armenian letters, "Hovhannes Aivazian" (Հովհաննես Այվազյան). His talent as an artist earned him sponsorship and entry to the Simferopol gymnasium №1 and later the St.Petersburg Academy of Arts, from which he graduated with the gold medal. Earning awards for his early landscapes and seascapes, he went on to paint a series of portraits of Crimean coastal towns before traveling throughout Europe. In later life, his paintings of naval scenes earned him a longstanding commission from the Russian Navy.

In 1845, Aivazovsky went to Constantinople upon the invitation of Sultan Abdülmecid, a city he was to travel to eight times between 1845-1890. During his long sojourn in Constantinople, Aivazovsky was commissioned for a number of paintings as a court painter by the Ottoman Sultans Abdülmecid, Abdulaziz and Abdulhamid, 30 of which are currently on display in the Ottoman Imperial Palace, the Dolmabahce Museum and many others at various other museums in Turkey.


Success

Due to his long life in art, Aivazovsky became the most prolific Armenian painter of his time. He left over 6,000 works at his death in 1900. With funds earned during his successful career as an artist he opened an art school and gallery in his home town of Feodosiya.

As of 2006[update], Aivazovsky's works have been auctioned for as much as $3,200,000, and his international reputation continues to grow. On June 14, 2007 his painting "American Shipping off the Rock of Gibraltar" sold for 2,710,000 pounds, "the highest price paid at auction for Aivazovsky". He is also said to be the most forged of all Armenian painters.


Legacy

A minor planet 3787 Aivazovskij, discovered by Soviet astronomer Nikolai Stepanovich Chernykh in 1977 is named after him.

Aivazovsky is referenced in Anton Chekhov's play Uncle Vanya.

How to use Buzz

Buzz lets you share updates, photos, links, and pretty much anything else you'd like with your Gmail contacts; it's an easy way to follow your friends, too. When you click Buzz in your Gmail account, you'll see the stream of posts from people you're following, and a box for you to post your updates. Here's a run-down of the basic functions:

•Post some buzz: Click in the text box next to your name, and share what's on your mind.
•Comment: if you see something in your stream you'd like to comment on, just click the Comment link under that post. Your comment will appear alongside it, and the author of the post will be notified.
•Like/unlike: If you don't have something in particular you want to say, but you just happen to like someone's post, you can click Like. It will show up on that post that you liked it; if you have a change of heart about something you've liked, you'll see an Unlike link; just click it to remove your name.
•Reply by chat: Click this link if you'd like to send a Chat message to the author of an update
•Delete comments: You can delete comments people have posted to your buzz, or comments you've posted.
•@replies: Write @ in front of someone's username as a way of directing your buzz at that person (it will automatically go to their inbox). You can only use @replies with people who are in your contacts, and other followers won't be able to see the Gmail username.
•Mute: You can mute buzz that appears in your inbox by enabling keyboard shortcuts and pressing the 'm' key while you're reading it. Muting keeps the update from continuing to appear in your inbox as people reply to it.
•Link to: Click the down-arrow to the right of a post, and select Link to this buzz. This allows you to send a link to this content
•Email: Click the down-arrow to the right of a post, and select Email; a new Gmail message will open with the buzz content in the subject and message body.
